The Second Annual Connect Community Awards will be held November 9th and will be attended by Central Florida's best in the industry. Our Community Association Managers and Industry partners are truly the key to a successful community. Celebrating those who give back to their communities with hard work and innovative ideas to enhance and grow their communities is the make up of Connect. Connect's Annual Awards celebrated those Community Association Professionals nominated by their colleagues, board members and industry partners. These nominations will be carefully reviewed and winners will be selected by Community Association Managers. Nominate someone for The 2023 Connect Community Awards!
COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION MANAGER NEWBIE OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to a CAM who has begun managing in the last 12 months and has shown exemplary leadership and initiative for the betterment of the communities they manage.
COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION ON-SITE MANAGER OF THE YEAR
The On-site Manager award will be presented to the manager who has exceptional leadership skills within the community they manage.
MOST INDUSTRY MINDED ADVISOR OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to the Connect Advisor that supports our industry the most. This advisor champions the education and development of our communities and managers.
COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION PORTFOLIO MANAGER OF THE YEAR
COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION PORTFOLIO MANAGER OF THE YEAR
The Portfolio Manager award will be presented to the manager who has exceptional leadership skills within the communities they manage.
THE CHUCK STRODE LEADERSHIP AWARD
MOST COMMUNITY MINDED MANAGEMENT COMPANY OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to a management company that gives back to the communities they manage and live in. This award will not be based on monetary contributions but the heart behind it's people, projects and initiatives.
NOMINATIONS
This year, Community Association Managers must have 3 nominations in order to progress to the next stage. Those nominations should be made by board members, vendors, colleagues or supervisors. Nominations will be selected by a 3rd party based on certain criteria. Nominees and winners will be published in the Florida Community Association Journal and celebrated at the CCAs on November 9th.
Nominations will close on JUNE 30TH.
A selection of 5 nominees will be chosen for each category. Those chosen will be notified of their invite to the CCAs.

Nominations for the Connect Community Award are OPEN! You can nominate a community at anytime leading up to the day before the event on November 9th. Connect will be collecting monetary nominations for The Connect Community Cares Award! You will have a chance to nominate a community in need of this contribution. Maybe you know a community financially struggling but has necessary repairs coming up, a community needing to spruce up their clubhouse or clean-up of a community park. All nomination proceeds will go to one lucky community and a check will be presented to that community at The Connect Community Awards. The Community will also be published in the January Edition of the Florida Community Association Journal.
